Pupil Leadership at St Gregory’s

At St Gregory’s, we believe every pupil has the potential to lead, serve and make a difference. Our pupil leadership teams give children the opportunity to use their voices, share their talents and live out our school mission by supporting others and caring for God’s creation. Through teamwork, faith and responsibility, our pupil leaders help to shape our school community and inspire others to do the same.

Our Pupil Leadership Teams

The Gift Team

Our GIFT Team helps to nurture the spiritual life of our school. They lead prayers and liturgies, support acts of worship, and encourage others to live out the Gospel values in their daily lives. By promoting kindness, faith and reflection, the GIFT Team helps our school grow closer to God and to one another.

Caritas Ambassadors

As Caritas Ambassadors, pupils put their faith into action through service and social justice. They learn about Catholic Social Teaching and lead projects to support local, national and global charities. Their mission is to show God’s love through compassion, generosity, and a commitment to making the world a fairer place for all.

School Council

Our School Council represents the voice of all pupils. Elected by their classmates, members work together to share ideas, discuss improvements and help make important decisions about school life. They meet regularly with staff to bring forward pupils’ views, helping to make St Gregory’s a happy, inclusive, and caring place for everyone.

The Eco Team

The Eco Team leads our school’s commitment to caring for God’s creation. They encourage everyone to be good stewards of the environment by promoting recycling, reducing waste, saving energy, and protecting nature. Through projects and campaigns, they help our school community to live more sustainably and respect the world God has given us.

Language Ambassadors

Our Language Ambassadors celebrate the joy of language learning and cultural diversity. They help to promote the importance of communication, encourage others to enjoy learning new languages and support activities that celebrate different cultures and traditions within our school community.

Prefects

Prefects are role models for others, chosen for their responsibility, kindness and positive attitude. They help to support the smooth running of the school by assisting staff, welcoming visitors and setting a strong example of respect and care. Prefects show leadership through service and help to create a positive, supportive environment for all.

Playground Leaders

Our Playground Leaders help to make break times happy, active, and inclusive for everyone. They organise games and activities, encourage fair play and ensure that all children feel welcome and involved. By showing friendship, patience and teamwork, they help to create a safe and joyful playground where everyone can have fun together.

Digital Leaders

Digital Leaders support the use of technology across the school and help to promote safe and responsible online behaviour. They assist pupils and teachers with digital tools, share ideas for using technology creatively and lead by example in promoting online safety. Their work helps everyone to use technology wisely, confidently and for good.
