At St Gregory’s, daily Collective Worship is at the heart of our school life, reflecting our Mission Statement: “A sanctuary of love and hope where greatness grows.” These worship sessions provide a dedicated time for our school community to gather in prayer, reflection, and spiritual growth. Each day, we come together to deepen our relationship with God and strengthen the bonds within our community.

Through stories, prayers, and hymns, we encourage our children to embody values such as love, compassion, and respect, creating a nurturing environment where faith is central to all we do. Collective Worship at St Gregory’s fosters a sense of togetherness and moral development, helping our students to live out their faith in practical and meaningful ways as they grow spiritually.

Weekly Structure

Class worship lead by a teacher.  This is an opportunity to create a prayerful and reflective atmosphere for students.

Whole school worship.  This is a significant part of the spiritual and communal life of the school.  These gatherings typically aim to bring the school community together in prayer, reflection and celebration of faith.

Key stage worship.  This is a meaningful way to help children develop their faith, reflect on Gospel values and build a sense of community along side their peers.

Class worship led by pupils, this can be an engaging experience for both the students leading the worship and also the wider student body and staff.

At our whole school celebration we invite parents to attend.  It is a wonderful opportunity to bring everyone together to reflect, celebrate achievements and build a sense of community.
