This morning some of our trust family from @StGregorysRCP brought the Diocesan anchor to our school and joined us for our pilgrims of hope assembly. We affirmed our pledges to work together to bring hope to others. @SalfordDiocese @RCSalfordEd @STOC_CAT
This afternoon Y2 have been in the forest school area making observational drawings of different micro habitats @STOC_CAT
Year 4 thoroughly enjoyed their first ukulele lesson of the school year this morning @STOC_CAT
Y2 had a wonderful morning visiting Rock Hall at Moses Gate. We drew the building and discussed what it would have been like in the past. The children have enjoyed learning about the Crompton family and their life in Farnworth @STOC_CAT
We have had a fantastic day visiting the Tower of London @STOC_CAT
During our art lessons in Y1 we have been learning all about Andy Goldsworthy; we explored his work and then went into our forest school to see what natural materials we could use to create our own art pieces @STOC_CAT
Y4 had a lovely morning visiting Farnworth Library @STOC_CAT
Y5 & Y6 had a fantastic afternoon with the fire service. We got to look at the contents of a fire engine, discuss water safety and cool off with the water @STOC_CAT
Y3 had a great time visiting a farm as part of their food discovery program with the @CountryTrust They learned how to plant different vegetables and learnt all about bees @STOC_CAT
